SantoBaba ("we", "our", "the app") provides Vedic astrology guidance, predictions, palm readings, temple recommendations and pooja booking services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. By using the app you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Account details: name, phone number, and optionally email, used to create and secure your account (login is verified by SMS OTP).
• Birth details: date, time and place of birth (with map coordinates), and gender. These are required to compute your Vedic birth chart, dasha periods, panchang and predictions — the core service of the app.
• Family member details (optional): birth details of family members you add, used solely to prepare their charts and predictions for you.
• Life details you choose to share (optional): marital status, anniversary date, information about children, and life goals. These personalize your guidance, temple recommendations and pooja suggestions. You can skip these questions entirely.
• Palm photographs (optional): images of your palms that you capture or upload, used to prepare your palm reading.
• Bookings and payments: pooja bookings, delivery address for prasad, and subscription status. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Device data: a push notification token (if you enable notifications) and language preference.

How we use it

• To compute your astrological charts and personalized predictions.
• To answer the questions you ask our astrology team.
• To recommend temples, gemstones and poojas relevant to your life needs.
• To fulfil pooja bookings and deliver prasad to the address you provide.
• To send you your daily guidance notification (you can switch this off any time).

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
• We do not share your birth details, palm images or life details with advertisers.
• We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the services above.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to run the service: cloud hosting and storage (Cloudflare, Neon), AI-assisted content preparation (OpenAI), payments (Razorpay), SMS delivery (MSG91), and push notifications (Google Firebase / Expo). Each receives only the minimum data needed for its function.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (including palm images and family member details) by contacting us at the address below; we will delete it within 30 days.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023) you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Important notes

• Astrological guidance is offered for spiritual and informational purposes. It is not medical, financial or legal advice.
• The app is not directed at children under 13. Birth details of minors may only be added by a parent or guardian as family members.
